Elio Zanoni, 92, of Roselle and Chandler, Arizona died Saturday, May 16, 2020. Born December 25, 1927 in Cloz, Italy.

Elio was a proud member of the Italian Veterans Alpini Club. He enjoyed hunting and making wine but was best known for his limoncello. Elio was very social and was extremely active in the Sun Bird community in Arizona where he lived with his wife for most of the year. He will be missed by his family and friends.

Beloved Husband of Ancilla (nee Cescolini); loving Father of Robert, James (Robin) and the late Gregory; kind father-in-law of Geralyn; cherished Nonno of Dannette, Johnny, Lewis, Nicholas, Christopher, Amanda (Ryan) and Tyler; caring great Nonno of one on the way; dear son of the late Eligo and Paulina (nee Rizzi) and kind brother of Gemma, Gino, Burtolo, Valeria, Gregorio and Irma.

A memorial service will be held in Elio’s honor at a later date. Burial Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, Roselle.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org or American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org would be appreciated.
