Eleanore Koonce

Eleanore A. Koonce, nee Fortun, 77, mother of Jim (Pam) and Ken (Mary); Grandmother of Carlie, Caitie and Matt; sister of the late Jerry; daughter of the late Walter and Helen Fortun, nee Lundberg. She was a dedicated employee of the U.S. Post Office for 25 years. She was an avid book reader, painter and crafter. In her spare time she enjoyed transcribing books for the blind. She also loved her little beagle, Annie. Visitation Friday 4:00 - 9:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Funeral service Saturday 10:00 am at Countryside Funeral Home. Interment Acacia Park Cemetery 7800 W. Irving Park Rd. Chicago following services.
