Edward P. Mullins, Jr., 80, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2024 and Eleanor B. Mullins (nee Waite), 71, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024, both at home in Glendale Heights. Edward was a Marine Veteran and proud union member. He was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast who enjoyed being a volunteer Boy Scout leader. Eleanor was a nationally competitive, artistic roller skater and seamstress, as well as a proud union member. Together they were known for opening and welcoming into their home anyone in need. Beloved parents of Theodore (Stephanie) West, Kelly Mullins, John (Kat) Mullins, the late Lloyd West, and honorary parents of Sheri Wheatly; loving grandparents of Destiny, Jordan, Alex, and Nick West, Dylan Mullins, Edward (Cassie), Marissa, Trevor, and the late Hayley West, and Devin Pokosa; proud great grandparents of Anthony, Aria, and Autumn; Edward was the dear brother of the late Lois (the late Jack) Burke, the late Rosemarie Forfar, the late Barbara (the late Earl) Hausl, and the late Judy (Bob) Rebholz and Eleanor was the dear sister of Edmund (Terry) Waite, Carl (Mary Alice) Ross, the late Walter and the late Freddie Ross; both were the fond aunt and uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation for Edward and Eleanor will be Friday, July 5 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 333 S. Roselle Rd. (1/2 mile south of Irving Park Rd.), Roselle.
