Madsen nee Johnson of Friendship Village formerly of Chicago; born 12/30/1917 in Chicago, IL and died 1/19/2011 in Hoffman Estates; beloved wife of the late Howard; loving mother of David (Nancy) and Kristine (Bradley) Lohnes; cherished grandmother of Katherine (Philip) Groth, Jennifer (William) Traversa and Heather, Geoffrey and Brock Lohnes; great-grandmother of 4; dear sister of Dorothy Fischer. Eleanor was a telephone operator of 25 years for Illinois Bell and later AT & T. Visitation Friday 3:00-9:00 PM at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 333 S. Roselle Rd, Roselle.
