Eleanor Kuhagen

Eleanor M. Kuhagen, 97, of South Elgin, died Sunday, November 24, 2013 at home. Eleanor was an avid Cubs fan who enjoyed knitting, crocheting and playing cards with her friends but what she enjoyed most was spending time with her family. Beloved wife of the late Donald; loving mother of Margaret Sands, Geraldine (Richard) Hoke, Donna (the late Ronald) Grabel, Arthur (Connie) and Diane (Scott) Conner; cherished grandmother of 13 and great-grandmother of 11; dear daughter of the late Michael and Helen (nee Soik) Polcyn; kind sister of Art (the late Jeann), Mike (Ida), Harry, George (the late Laura “Larry”) Polcyn and the late Jeanne (Ted) Trybus, Richard (Ann)Polcyn, Dolores (John) Blue, Norbert (Esther), Raymond and Fr Robert Polcyn; fond sister-in-law of Irene and aunt to several nieces and nephews. Visitation 3:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. today, November 26 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 95 S Gilbert St (at Middle St), South Elgin. Funeral Wednesday 9:15a.m. to St. Patrick Church, Mass 10:00a.m. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery.
