Elaine Whiting

Elaine B. Whiting, 92, of Friendship Village, formerly of Streamwood and Roselle passed away peacefully July 18, 2014. Elaine was the loving mother of Gary (Margaret) Whiting, Nancy (James) Evans, the late Bruce (Mary Beth) Whiting, and Kay (Dean) Pittelko; proud grandmother of Brian, Brett and Mark Whiting, Tiffany and Meredith Evans, Nichole Martin, Deric and Emily Whiting, and Hillary Pittelko; cherished great grandmother of 5.

Elaine enjoyed working with her hands, knitting, crocheting, and gardening. She worked until the age of 75, her last job before retirement was as a credit and collections agent at Zurich American Life Insurance.

Visitation for Elaine Wednesday July 23, 9:30a.m. until the time of service 11:00a.m. at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 333 S. Roselle Road (1/2 mile South of Irving Park Road) Roselle. Interment Concordia Cemetery.
