Elaine B. Owen,(nee Birsen), 86, of Roselle, passed away Sunday, March 31. An avid crocheter, Elaine loved reading love stories and mysteries. She enjoyed camping and traveling. Beloved wife of the late Lyle; loving mother of Stan,(Marlene) Smith, Helen Smith, Rita Owen, Leila(Patricia) Owen, and Christine, (Tom) Hollatz; proud grandmother of Megan, Meredith, Melissa, Bridget(Ademola), and Aaron; dear sister of Audrey, Lori, Mary Jo, the late Barbara, the late Dorothy, and the late Ralph. Visitation Wednesday, April 3 from 3:00pm to 8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 333 S. Roselle Rd.(1/2 mile south of Irving Park Rd.), Roselle.
