Elaine Barwig

Elaine Marie Barwig, 88, Streamwood resident for 56 years, died February 3, 2025. Elaine was the beloved wife of the late Bob Barwig and the late James Christensen; loving mother of Donna (Joe) Leban; proud grandmother of Shelley (Ben) Luedtke and Scott (Jenn) Leban; cherished great grandmother of Payton and McKenzie Luedtke.

Elaine enjoyed volunteering and bowling. Time with her family was most important to her.

Visitation Friday February 7, 9:00am until time of service 11:00am at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Road (at Stearns Road) Bartlett. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer’s association www.alz.org would be appreciated.
