Edwin Hunter

Edwin E. Hunter, 78, of Bartlett and was raised in the Hermosa neighborhood of Chicago; husband for 46 years of the late Maryann, nee Strack; dad of Tiffany (Christopher) Johnson and Cary (Gail); grandpa of Luke and brother of Edmund "Moon", late Eugene, late Celestine and late Casimir. Ed was a longtime member of Saint Peter Damian Church in Bartlett. He was always generous. He was a dedicated employee of both Paragon Manufacturing in Chicago and Armin Tool in South Elgin. He enjoyed watching Chicago sports teams. In retirement he remained independent, attended as many of Luke's hockey games as possible and occasionally relaxing on a beach reading a good book. A celebration of Ed's life will be held on Saturday, October 29th, memorial mass 12:30 pm at St. Peter Damian Church 131 S Crest Ave, Bartlett, IL. In lieu of flowers donations to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 or Saint Peter Damian Church would be appreciated.
