Edwin Henrikson

Visitation for Edwin Keith Henrikson of Elgin, formerly of St. Charles, will be held Friday, September 29, 2017 2:00 p.m. until the time of service 6:00 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 95 S. Gilbert St. (at State St.) South Elgin. Cremation was private at the Countryside Crematory.
Edwin enjoyed woodworking and will be remembered for his love of fast cars and loud music.
He is the beloved father of Adriana and William; cherished son of Eugene and Arlene Henrikson, nee Koeller; life partner of Heidi Sandler, and close friend of many, including Steve Wilkinson and Michael Weightman.
He will be dearly missed by Heidi’s children Katie (Jason Whitley) More and Joelle Kasprisin, Heidi’s grandson Ben Whitley, dear former wife Silmara Henrikson, in-laws Eunice and the late Zeferino Xavier, Sandra, Fatima, Selma, and Newton, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends in the USA and Brazil. Edwin will also be missed by the family dog Zoe and chameleon Pastel.
