Edward M. Selonke of Arizona formerly of Chicago passed away July 6th, 2012 in Kingman, Arizona surrounded by family. He is survived by his children Debbie (Mitch) Matuga and Michael; a sister Lorraine (late John) Sourek; grandchildren Keith, Kristin, Eve and Adam; brother in law of Babe, Fran, Bill, John and Helen; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Marion nee Schmidt. He was an Army veteran. Worked at Appleton Electric in Chicago for 27 years. Ed moved to Kingman, Arizona in 1978 where he worked at Kingman Regional Medical Center until his retirement. Ed was known for his whistling, any song or melody, and even bird sounds. He loved to meet new people and always had an interesting story to tell. He was an avid gardener, but his passion was fishing, which he missed while living in the Arizona desert. Visitation Saturday 3:00 pm until the time of his service 8:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 333 S. Roselle Rd. (1/2 mile South of Irving Park Rd.) Roselle. Cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory following his serivices. Please omit flowers.
