Edward C. Pawlos
Age 59, of Bartlett, passed into the presence of the Lord on December 3, 2013. Beloved husband of Mary (Kohut) Pawlos, loving father of Mark Pawlos and Diana Pawlos, son of the late Walter and Mary Pawlos, brother of Dave (Jan) Pawlos, and Kathy (John) Kreuzer, brother-in-law of Peter (Pat) Kohut, and Theresa Pawlos. Ed is also survived by three nieces and four nephews and one great niece. In addition to his parents, Ed is pre-deceased by a brother John W. Pawlos and a nephew Matthew B. Pawlos.
Ed was a graduate of the 1972 Class of Beaver Falls High School in Beaver Falls, PA, and worked at the former Jones and Laughlin Steel Mill in Aliquippa, PA before moving to Chicago, Illinois in 1979 to marry his wife Mary. Ed has spent the majority of his career in the construction/home improvement industry.
Ed was a member of the Poplar Creek Church in Bartlett, Illinois.
Ed will always be remembered for his love of the Lord, for his compassion and interest in others, and a great sense of humor. Visitation Saturday, December 7, 2013, from 3pm to 8pm at Countryside Funeral Home, 950 S. Bartlett Road (at Stearns), Bartlett, Illinois 60103. A funeral service will held Saturday evening starting at 8 pm at the funeral home. Following services, cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.
