Visitation for Edward J. Nevera of Bartlett, formerly of Schaumburg will be held Friday, May 19, 2017 4:00 - 8:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Funeral Saturday 11:00a.m.
A veteran of the US Army, having served in WWII, Ed is also retired from the Chicago Police Department after 28 1/2 years of service.
He is the husband of Mary (nee) Fennelly; father of Kathleen Nevera, Julie Anne (Don) Kura, Mary Anne Badziong, Edward Joseph (Nora) Nevera, Jr., Robert Michael Nevera and Amir Rafizadeh; grandfather of 7; great grandfather of 2.
