Edward Joseph Muren, Sr. 84, of Bartlett for 50 years, passed away quietly in his sleep June 28. He is survived by his bride of 62 years Jennie (nee Chiaramonte), and his brother John(Agnes) Muren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary Muren.
He leaves a legacy of five children, Mark (Debbie), Mary Ellen (Dan) Corrado, Edward, Jr. (Gail), Judith (Ken Knight) Connell and Joan (the late Jim) LeRoy, thirteen grandchildren, Harmony, Mark Abram, Jonathan, Kelli, Riley, Bradley, Eddie III, Joey, Danny, David, Michael, Chip, and Tommy. He also was blessed by his seven great grandchildren, Addison, Aubrey, Gavin, Kyan, Sofia, Elliott and Hannah.
A veteran of the United States Navy, Edward returned home from service and married Jennie on December 28, 1950. He attended Purdue University and the University of New Mexico graduating with degrees in chemical engineering and structural engineering.
He will be sorely missed by his family, friends and neighbors.
