Edward V. McCarter, 88, of Bartlett, cherished husband for 62 years of Patricia, nee Bochte; loving father of Cheryl (Raymond) Moen and the late Gayle K. Weiss-Crawford; dear brother of Catherine (late William) Zmich; proud grandfather of Nicholas and John Weiss and Andrew and Taylor Moen; dear brother in law of Roberta (Richard) Daniel and Katherine (late Joseph) Malovany; fond uncle of many; beloved son of the late Edward and the late Margaret, nee Dondero. Memorial visitation Friday, November 10th, 4:00 pm - 7:30 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd.(at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Funeral Saturday, November 11th, visitation 9:00 am until time of memorial mass 10:00 am at Resurrection Catholic Church 30W350 Army Trail Rd. (1/2 mile West of Rt. 59) Wayne, Il. Cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers donations to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
