Edward S. Kay, 89, of Bartlett. Beloved husband of the late Nancy (nee Pavia); loving dad of Edward (Loretta), Mary (Lawrence) Schleicher and Thomas (Ruth); cherished grandpa of Nancy (John Kalush, Ellen (Adam) Zmuda, Michael (Jennifer) and Stephen (Meghan) Schleicher and Timothy and Elizabeth and great grandpa to Abigail, Dominic, Colton and a new arrival in November; dear son of Edward and Eva Kraptovich; fond brother of the late Millie (Charles), Al (Edna), Johanna (Bill) and Helen (John); Edward was an Ensign Naval Aviator who served during WWII. He will be missed by the thing he cherished most, his family. Visitation 4:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. with services at 6:00p.m. Friday, July 25, 2014 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd (at Stearns Rd), Bartlett.
