Edward Johansson

Edward S. Johansson, 85, of South Elgin passed away Thursday, June 23. An experienced equestrian, Ed was a family man who enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a proud retired US Navy Underwater Demolition Team(UDT) member. Beloved husband of Virginia(nee Moline); loving father of Edward(Patsy), Andrew(Rhonda), Penelope(Tom) Larimer, and Chad(Karen); dear grandfather of Nicole(Joe) McNeal, Brandon and Timothy(Monique) Johansson, Bobby and Bonnie Larimer, and Trisha, Spring, and Brenna Johansson; proud great grandfather of Kalilonie, Aiden, Lucy, CiCi, Rory, Noah, and Presston; fond brother of the late Nils William and the late John. Cremation private at Countryside Crematory. Memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
