Edmund Kirstein

Edmund Kirstein, 81, of Hanover Park, passed away Monday, March 14, 2011. Beloved husband of Ella; loving father of Barbara Ovan and Ron (Rhonda); Dear grandfather of Steven, Ronnie, Tommy, Samantha, Mary and Nicky; Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters and 3 brothers. He retired from the Museum of Science and Industry after 34 years in 1991. Visitation Friday, March 18, 2011 from 3:00p.m. – 9:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd (at Stearns Rd), Bartlett. Lying in state Saturday from 9:00a.m. until time of service 10:00a.m. at Our Savior Lutheran, 1244 Army Trail Rd, Carol Stream. Interment Bethania Cemetery.
