Edmund Blum Jr, 92, died Wednesday, January 15, 2025 in Carol Stream. Born October 22, 1932 in Chicago. Edmund attended Manierre School before graduating from Waller High School. After high school Edmund had a few jobs before joining the Army where he served during the Korean Conflict before being discharged in August of 1954. Edmund spent many years in and out of VA hospitals and assisted living facilities before finally passing at the Belmont Village in Carol Stream
Beloved son of Edmund Sr and Bernice Blum; loving brother of Alfred (the late Dianne) Blum, Virginia (Charles) Schroer, Karl (Joan Watters) Blum and the late Ralph Blum. He had many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at the chapel at Irving Park Cemetery, 7777 Irving Park Rd, Chicago on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at 2:00pm.
