Dussort Brudent

Dussort Brudent, aged 85, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 6, 2024, in Rockford, Illinois. Born on February 6, 1939, in Saltrou, Haiti, Dussort was the beloved son of Brienne Bazile and Maurice Brudent and had six siblings.
While in Haiti, Dussort attended and graduated college and earned his degree. After earning his degree, Dussort worked as a Home Inspector and became a member of the Fraternity of the Freemasonry.
In 1986, Dussort decided to move to Illinois in which he became a Housekeeper at Forest VIlla Nursing Home. He retired from this position at the age of 65.
Dussort has 11 children and survived by 10: Bruckner Brudent, Magdaly Laurent (Darline) Rachelle Brudent, James Brudent (RIP), Patrick Brudent, Marie Loraine Brudent, Sabine Hilaire, Marie Chenet, Sandra Brudent and Cyndi Brudent. Dussort is the grandfather of 30 grandkids, 1 grandpup and 7 great grandchildren.
Dussort will be remembered as a loving, kind and funny man. He enjoyed playing Dominoes, babysitting his grandchildren and watching soccer and tennis. Dussort will be remembered for his love of family.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024 from 8-9:15 A.M. at Countryside Funeral Home, 1640 S. Green Meadows Blvd, Streamwood, IL 60107. A memorial mass to follow at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 502 S. Park Blvd, Streamwood, IL 60107. Interment All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines, IL.
