Dorothy Sienkiewicz

Dorothy Sienkiewicz (nee Niewierowski), 85, of Bartlett, died Thursday, October 17, 2024. Born February 13, 1939, in Chicago. Dorothy enjoyed owls, flowers and gardening. She also enjoyed fishing and a good game of Scrabble. She was an avid Chicago sports fan, especially the Bears who she watched every Sunday with her husband Joe during the season. She will be missed  dearly by her family. She was the Beloved wife of 66 years to Joseph “Joe”; loving mom of Bonnie (Charles) Nelms, Gail Sienkiewicz and Joe (Kim) Sienkiewicz; Cherished Grandma Dottie of Tim Nelms (Amanda), Alexa Nelms (Jason Murphy), Joey Sienkiewicz, Tony Valentino (Brittany) Jennifer Valentino, Joshua Denney (Jessica) and Great Grandma of Dorothy, Maxine, Jackson, Gianna, Ava, Michael, Jason and one Great-Granddaughter on the way; Dear Daughter of Stanley and Anna Niewierowski and kind Sister of the late Jimmy. Cremation will be done at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, Bartlett,IL. A Catholic Mass for Dorothy will be held at St. Peter Damian Catholic Church, 131 S Crest Ave, Bartlett on Oct. 30th at 10:00 am in Bartlett,IL. With a Burial to immediately follow at the Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Wheaton, IL.
