Dorothy Pearce

Dorothy "Dodie" C. Pearce, nee Snell, 81 of Carol Stream, mom of Scott (Terri), Nancy (Bob) and Casey; grandma of Tyler, Diane Slack, Derek Heath, Kelsey Heath and Chris (Colleen) Heath; great grandma of Alyssa Waters, Philip Heath, Mckayla Heath and Levi; sister of Barbara (Robert) Schuppe and she was also the loving owner of her 2 dogs Okie and Punkin. Dodie was an amazing woman. She was looked at as a 2nd mom to many. She was generous and truly cared about everyone. She liked the outdoors and had a sense of adventure. She was a marvel in the kitchen, known for her rice crispy treats, cinnamon rolls and peelers. Thanksgiving was Dodie's favorite holiday, because it involved food and family...her two favorite things. She retired from Aspen / Epsilon Marketing after years of dedicated, friendly service. Memorial service Sunday October 21st, 1:00 pm - until the time of service 5:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett.
