Dorothy Murray, nee Williams, formerly of Lombard and Elmhurst passed away on May 10th in Mississippi. Dorothy was the loving wife of 72 years of the late Roy; cherished momma of Richard Clay (Deborah) of Mississippi, Maurice Wayne (Joyce) of Addison, Alice Faye Meredith of Arkansas, Randal Lee (Vickie) of Mississippi and Donna Marie (Stephen) White of Mississippi; dear grandma of 12 and greatrandma of 22; she was also preceded in death by 4 sisters and 2 brothers.
Dorothy's life was all about family and church. She and her late husband Roy were married when Dorothy was only 14. They moved away from family and the mines of Kentucky in 1941 to try and start a better life together. Dorothy could best be described as resourceful. She could sew anything and cook a great homemade meal out of anything. She was the past president of the Ladies Auxillary at Calvary church where she was very active in but not limited to the church choir and teaching Sunday school for many years. She was an intrical part of a loving and caring home. She was always young at heart and connected with people of all ages.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the the Calvary United Pentecostal Church 19 W 701 Army Trail Road in Addison, Il. Her funeral will be Wednesday lying in state from 9:00 am until the time of her service 10:00 am at church. Interment Elm Lawn.
