Dorothy Keown

Dorothy A. Keown, nee Gorman, the cherished honey of the late Norman to whom she was married to for 58 wonderful years; proud mother of Christine (the late Bill) Hall and Steven (Ellen); cherished grandmother of Jennifer (John) Carr, Charissa (Derick) Owens, Maggie (Pat) Haas and Brad Keown; loving great grandmother of Ryan and Nate Carr, Kendra and Kaylen Owens and Chloe Keown; dear sister of Florence (Joseph) Labarrere and the late Michael, Robert and Thomas; beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews. Dorothy loved to crochet, cook, bake and browse in department stores. She had a strong faith which helped her, literally, be the right hand man for her husband. She was a classy dresser, enjoyed taking annual trips in the Fall to see the colors around Wausau, was the proud owner of a dear Schnauzer named Rags. Most of all she took great pride in being the best wife and mom anyone could ever ask for. Visitation Thursday Oct. 2nd at the Sacred Heart Chapel of Clare Oaks 825 Carillon Dr. Bartlett 9:30 am until time of mass 10:30 am. Interment will be attended only by her family at St. Michael the Archangel. In lieu of flowers donations to the Sister of St. Joseph Third Order of St. Francis P.O. Box 305 Stevens Point, Wi. 54481-0305 would be appreciated.
