Dorothy Flowers, 85, of Streamwood, formerly of Chicago. Born July 8, 1926 in Chicago. Dorothy loved spending time with her grandchildren. Beloved wife to the late Edward; loving mother to Don (Donna) and the late Daniel and Dennis; cherished grandmother to Allison (David) Hertzberg, Kevin (June), Keith, Michael (Cassie), Traci (Matthew) Davis, Jonathan and Dennis; caring great-grandmother to Zoe, Leif, Alex, Zachary, Abigaile and Zachary. Visitation Thursday 3:00p.m.-9:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Rd), Streamwood. Funeral Friday 9:15a.m. going to Church of the Holy Spirit, Mass 10:00a.m. Interment St. Adalbert. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to charity of choice.
