Dorothy Barnett

Dorothy J. Larm - Barnett, nee Scott, of Bartlett, formerly of Elmhurst. Wife of the late Walter Marciniak, late Fred Larm and the late Joseph Barnett; mom of Diane (Thomas) Powe of Wheaton, Barbara (John) LoCascio of Pauleys Island S.C., Walter (Phyllis) Marciniak of Ringwood, Il. and Linda Mazur of Bartlett; grandma of Frank (Karen) Allison, Shelley (Mason) Chamberlin, Christine (Bill) Comstock, Alise Mazur, Jeff (Marie) Marciniak, Joy (Mark) Grzelak and Jennifer Mazur; great grandma of 10; sister of John Scott and the late Clifford Scott. Dorothy was active in the Wayne Seniors, both the Wood Dale and Bensenville VFW, past member of the Shriners. She loved to dance especially any polka, play cards and she was known to have a sweet tooth. Her quick wit and sense of humor kept everyone around her on their toes. Visitation Wednesday 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Funeral Thursday 9:15 am to Corpus Christi Church. Mass 10:00 am. Cremation will be private following mass at the Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers donations to the American Heart Association, St. Jude Children's Hospital, ALS / Les Turner Foundation or Juvenile Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
