Prayers for Doris L. Ricker nee Rietschel of Carol Stream, formerly of Hanover Park will begin Friday 9:45a.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg to St. Ansgar Church. Mass 10:30a.m. Following Mass, cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.
Visitation will be held Thursday 5:00 – 8:00p.m. at the funeral home.
Doris and her husband Robert are longtime parishioners of St. Ansgar Church in Hanover Park.
Born April 14, 1925 in Elmont, New York, Doris died May 11, 2009 in Glendale Heights.
She is the beloved wife of Robert A.; loving mother of Alan of Cary, Richard (Jeanne) of Berwyn, Jeffry (Elizabeth) of Scottsdale, AZ and Lois (Nick) Infelise of Carol Stream; cherished grandmother of Jennifer, Cynthia, Christian, Kati, Brian, Nicolas and Katherine Ricker and Matthew and Jessica Infelise; proud great-grandmother of Rayanon and Savanna; dear sister of Raymond Rietschel of North Merrick, NY and the late Carl and Robert.
