McClay of Elgin for over 50 years; loving mother of Diane (the late John) Hickey, Deb (Bob) Banker and Dawn (James) McKeon; loving grandmother of Rachel (Andrew) Johnson, David (Tara) Hickey, Robert Ian Banker, PFC Colin Banker, Jason Banker, Price Davis and Isaiah Wallace; proud great grandmother of Alayna and Hannah Johnson; wife of 27 years and friend thru eternity to Donald R. McClay; dear daughter of the late Hans and Meta Rasmussen; sister of the late Paul G. and John Rasmussen.
Doris was Born August 26, 1931 and called home February 2, 2011.
She enjoyed gardening, flowers and bowling she belonged to the Elgin Cosmopals Koffee Klatchers Bowling Team. She loved dogs and her ponies Pete and Queenie.
Visitation Saturday 11:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service 3:00 p.m. at Country Evangelical Covenant Church, 43W510 McDonald Rd., Elgin. Burial Prairie Cemetery. Arrangements by Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, South Elgin.
