Donna Madej

Donna I. Rossi - Madej, nee Lenahan, of Bartlett, wife of Harry; mom of Mark, John (Pam Schnagl), Anthony (Sabrina Luckey), Beth (David) Zierden, Suzanne (Brian) Boys, Stephen (Jesse) Madej and Lynn Buchanan; grandma of Darrell, Aaron, Erika, Jillian, Jacob, Renee, Amanda, Jessica and Daniel; sister of Patricia and Sister Mary Ann. She was also preceded in death by brothers Lawrence and John and her first husband, Jack who died in 1972. Donna was a special person. She was always there for everyone whether to lend an ear for listening or to gently guide you when you needed it most. She loved to play scrabble, travel and volunteer at Good Samaritan Hospital. She was friends of Bill W. She had a great sense of humor which helped her through some of life's rough spots. She was a hard worker, a loving wife, a great mom but an even better grandma. She will be missed by many. Visitation Thursday 3:00 - 9:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd.(at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Funeral Friday 9:15 am to Resurrection Church. Mass 10:00 am. After mass, cremation at the Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital would be appreciated.
