Donald Zegler

Donald F. Zegler, 70, of Bartlett, died Saturday, June 25, 2016. Born November 4, 1945 in Chicago. Don was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Vietnam and was a member of Bartlett VFW Post 11018. He was a member of Sheet Metal Local 73 and enjoyed working with wood. He will be missed by his family. Beloved husband of 23 years to Carol (nee O’Grady); loving dad of Patty (John) Kenyon, Barb (Bill) McHalay, Jean (John) Wray, John and Don (Souzannah) Carlson; cherished grandpa of Kristina, Kyleigh, Danielle, William, Theresa, Brennan, William, Ian, Anthony and Louis; proud great grandpa of Harper; dear son of the late Chester and Pacifica (nee Gocke); and brother of Carol (Roy) Escalante, Beverly (the late Ben) Rosenburg, Eileen Lattanzio and the late Jim Zegler.

Visitation 3:00p.m. until time of service 7:30p.m. Friday, July 1, 2016 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd (at Stearns Rd), Bartlett.
