Donald N. Russell, 91, of Streamwood, died Monday, March 4, 2013. Born August 23, 1921 in Gladstone, Mich. He was the son of Donald “Dan” and Lela (nee Nicholas). A member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Donald was very passionate about the Bible and his faith. He will be missed by many.
Survivors include daughters Sharon and Linda Russell, Regina Provenzano; granddaughters Nicole and Lindsey; great grandson Braxten; one aunt and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years Essie, parents and 10 brothers and sisters. Visitation Wednesday, March 6, 2013 from 3:00p.m. antil time of service 7:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 S Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Rd), Streamwood. Additional services will be held Friday in Gladstone. Interment Fernwood Cemetery. In lieu of Flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 55 E Monroe St #3420, Chicago, IL 60603 or www.diabetes.org
