Donald Rich

Donald “Don” J. Rich Sr, 61, of Glendale Heights, died peacefully in his home Tuesday, May 30, 2023 surrounded by his beloved family.

Born August 16, 1961 in Elmhurst. Don worked for over 30 years as an operating
engineer for the Local 150. He enjoyed wildlife and going up north to his cabin where
he camped and fished. He had a passion for things with motors, particularly Honda motorbikes. Don was nicknamed the "Doc" because he was mechanically gifted and was known to be able to
fix anything. Growing up Don had many pets, including his most recent beloved dog, Roxy, who was by his side for 15 years. He will be missed by his family and friends.

Beloved husband of 40
years to Jeanne; loving dad to Jennifer (Zack) Sadler, Katherine (Jacob) Lower and
Donald Jr; cherished grandpa of Hunter, Bella, Aubrey, Emma, Iris and Lilah; dear
son of the late Raymond and Vella; kind brother of John (LoreLei), Susan (Dave), Daniel (Sue), Lisa (Mark) and the
late Dave; fond Uncle to David Wring and many others.

Arrangements and Cremation is private at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, Roselle.
