Peterson, Beloved husband of Irene (nee: Todd); loving father of Lara (Guy) Powers and Lisa (Francis) McManus; dear grandfather of Diana, Maria, Elena, Christina, Athena and Liam; caring son of the late Vernon and Eva (nee: Mendenhall); fond brother of Richard, Lee (Kathy), the late Larry (Donna) and the late Marie (Dave) Bloir.
Donald was a 40 year employee with Firestone and was a member of The Knights of Columbus at St. Marcelline Catholic Church.
Visitation Sunday 2:00pm until 8:00pm at The Countryside Funeral Homes and Crematory, 333 South Roselle Rd., Roselle. Funeral Monday 9:15am to St. Marcelline Catholic Church for Mass at 10:00am.
