Donald Mease

Donald R. Mease, 85, of Chicago, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2025. Donald was an avid Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers fan who was also an accomplished Boy Scout Explorer. He retired from BASF after 25 years of service. Don was an active St. Stephens Ministry member and started Men in Mission at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Mooresville, NC where he also taught Sunday School. Beloved husband of the late Sharon (nee Williams), the late Carole (nee Gehrke), and former husband of Sandra (nee Rodell); loving father of Debi (Dan) Hall, Christine (the late Rick) Longuiera, and Michael (Delphie), Matthew (Melissa), and the late Carol Mease; cherished grandfather of Melissa, Joshua (April), Jeanine (Chirag), Christopher (Julie), Aaron (Cameo), Brian, Claire, the late Edward, and the late Nicholas; proud great grandfather of Jackson, Quinton, Cecelia, Theodore, Scarlett, Eloise, Lucas, and Madison; dear brother of Richard and the late Carol Mease. Visitation Monday, January 20 from 10:00am until time of service 12 noon at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.), Bartlett.
