A member of Iron Workers Local Union #1, Sgt in 101st Airborne, he served in Korea. He loved to hunt and fish. He was very close to the Lord.
Beloved husband of Janet nee Selby;
Loving father of Debbie (Gary) Dyrek of Batavia, Lee (Stephen) Joyce of St. Charles and Matthew of Chicago;
Proud grandfather of Daniel, Grace, Mary, Liam and Evan.
Visitation Friday 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett.
Memorial Service Saturday, 7:00 p.m. at Our Redeemer Free Methodist Church, 1323 Summit St., Elgin.
In lieu of flowers donations to Our Redeemer Free Methodist Church would be appreciated.
