Donald William Holman of Hanover Park for 15 years, formerly of Hoffman Estates; beloved husband of the late Patricia (nee Johnson); loving father of Carrie (Paul) Bolack of Madison, WI, Debbi (Dan) Pinault of Spring Park, MN, Kelly (Jeff) Faherty of Platteville, Wi, Gary (Nicole) Holman of Delano, MN and Shawn (Cari) Furrie of St. Charles; cherished grandfather of Anna and Leah Pinault, Jake and Shelby Faherty, Chloe, Skyler and Lydia Holman, Ariana and Gianna Furrie; dear twin brother of David of Bloominton, IL, and Judy Altman of Campbellsville, KY, Joyce Kumba of Huntsville, TX and the late Gerald; son of the late Arthur and Rosie.

A mechanic for United Airlines from 1967 until his retirement in 2006. A US Army veteran, he was involved in the Berlin Crisis.

Visitation Sunday, July 21st 1:00p.m. until the time of funeral service 4:00 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd., (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Following services cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.
