Donald Abe of Hanover Park for 40 years Visitation for Donald Abe will be from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral service 3:30 p.m. Saturday, at the Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, 333 S. Roselle Road, Roselle. Following services cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory. Born March 12, 1927, in Santa Cruz, Calif., he died Nov. 24, 2008, in Hines, Ill. Mr. Abe was a World War II Army veteran and an avid fisherman. Donald was the beloved husband of the late Marta; loving father of Kimi (Tony) Anderson of Mountain View, Ark., Rick (Pattie) Hirata of Addison, Paul Abe of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Julianne Abe of Hanover Park; cherished grandfather of Daniele, David, Rick (Lisa) and Tomi; proud great-grandfather of two; and dear brother of Bill, Stanley and Frances.
