Domnic Saraceno of Bartlett, IL passed away on December 6th, 2018 peacefully at home with family by his side from lung cancer at the age of 87.
Dominic proudly served his country in the Marine Corp during the Korean war.
He owned and operated Brothers Screw Machine Corp, was an accomplished mechanic, jack or all trades and master woodworker. His works of art leave memories in so many homes. He loved to fish, hunt and restore cars.
He was married to Sheila McCarron on August 10, 1996 and they had a wonderful life together for over 22 years, along with their beloved dogs Timber and Willow.
He is survived by his wife Sheila, his children Nick (Mary Beth), Julie (Peg) and Dan, also five grandchildren, nieces, nephews and sister in law Ann Burns. He is predeceased by his daughter Mary Ann, brothers and parents.
He was a wonderful man with a big heart. His was a life well lived. He had such a profound effect on so many people and to that end we invite you to celebrate his life with us. Visitation will begin at 5 pm, followed by prayers at 6:15 pm. Please come prepared to share your favorite Dominic story starting at 6:30. His favorite snack foods and refreshments will be served.
Many of you are familiar with his famous phrase of "you go now" or "we go now", we imagine his last use of this as "I go now".
