Dino Lombardi

Dino Lombardi, 88, of Bartlett; loving husband for 63 years to Catherine nee Recchia; cherished father of Carol (Ron) Lietz and Rick (Sandi); dear grandfather of Tiffany, Nicholas, Alex and Ashley. Mr. Lombardi was a dedicated employee of East Leyden High School in Franklin Park, retiring as grounds superintendant after 30 + years of service to the school. His family always turned to him when something needed to be fixed. He could repair and fix anything. He took pride in his yards both at school and home in Bartlett. His greatest joy came in spending time with his family. His love for family, work ethic and values are things which will always be remembered by those who knew him. A memorial visitation will be held Friday September 21st from 3:00 pm until the time of his memorial service 8:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Road (at Stearns Road) Bartlett. Cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.
