Dina Kernaghan

Dina G. Kernaghan, 71, of Elk Grove Village, died Sunday, December 13, 2020. Born April 15, 1949 in Honduras. Dina was a woman of faith and family. She loved her children and grandchildren and was known for shipping clothes and toys to Honduras for the poor children who lived there. She will be missed. Beloved wife of the late Bill; loving mom of Linda (Sixto Casas) Mondragon, Karen (Robert) Aleman, Wendy (Jason) Sanden and Patrick Kernaghan; cherished grandma of Gerson, Angel, Melanie, Edwin, Karen Avila, Jedediah, Veronica, Dina, J.R. and Isabella; dear great grandma of Gerson and Ryan; caring daughter of the late Jose Santos-Banegas and Marie Concepcion-Gomez and kind sister of Reinaldo Gomez, Ofilio Banegas, Juventina Gomez, Abelardo Banegas and Jeremiaz Gomez. Visitation 4:00p.m. to 6:30p.m. on Thursday, December 17, 2020. Please be prepared to come, pay your respects and depart as we follow current COVID-19 guidelines. Following visitation, cremation will be private at the Countryside Funeral Home.
