Visitation for Diego Alonso Alvarez of Elk Grove Village will be held Saturday, July 3, 2021 3:00p.m. until time of service 8:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 333 S. Roselle Rd. (1/2 mile south of Irving Park Rd.) Roselle. Following services, cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.
Diego completed his sophomore year at Conant High School in Hoffman Estates, where he enjoyed playing soccer and had many friends. He also enjoyed cooking.
He is the cherished son of Julio Alvarez and the late Veronica Lopez; beloved brother of Julio, Jr. and Cristopher. He will also be missed by his dog "Peluche"
