Diane Marie Marino, of Elmwood Park, Beloved wife of the late James, J.; loving mother of Len (Leona) Marino, Larry Marino, Lisa (Mike) Chester and Philip Marino; adored nonna of Danielle DeMint, Taylor Fischer, Jim Marino, Gianna Marino, Anthony Marino and great nonna of Rylee, Justin, Jaxon, Lyric and Micah; dear daughter of the late Bernard and Lena Zanardo.
Diane had a great love for the Union League Club of Chicago where she met the man of her dreams, her husband, James. Together they were camp counselors during the summer. Diane and James continued working at the camp in various roles, bringing their children back with them each summer until James' passing in 1982. Diane also enjoyed working in cosmetics at Marshall Fields in Oak Park for many years.
Among the many things her family will miss most, her warm smile, beautiful blue eyes and love for cooking rank at the top.
Visitation Wednesday May 22, 2024 8:30A.M. until time of prayers 9:30A.M. at The Countryside Funeral Homes and Crematory, 333 South Roselle Rd., Roselle. Funeral Mass 10:00A.M. at St. Walter Catholic Church with burial to follow in Mount Carmel.
