Diane S Kowalski (nee Engler), 69, of Streamwood, formerly Bensenville, died Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at home surrounded by family. Born September 22, 1951 in Chicago. Diane was a foodie who loved to play slots. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandkids. She will be missed. Beloved wife of 39 years to Frank; loving mom of Jennifer (John) Kane and Ben; cherished grandma of Julia and Jaclyn; dear daughter of the late Walter and Martha (nee Ziebell) Engler and kind sister of Linda Engler and Karen (the late John) Chiodo. Cremation is private at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd (at Stearns Rd), Bartlett.
