Diana Lee Lokcinski

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Diana Lee Lokcinski, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. Diana passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 1, 2026. She was 80 years old.

Born in the bustling city of Chicago on July 1, 1946, to her loving parents Joseph and Betty Kutil, Diana grew up with a strong sense of family and community. She carried these values with her throughout her life and imparted them to all she knew.

Diana was dedicated to her work as a school bus driver, a role she embraced for 35 years. She took pride in her responsibility, ensuring that the children in her care were always safe and happy on their journeys to and from school.

A family woman through and through, Diana is survived by her children, Troy Jack Lokcinski and Bobbie Ann (Darryl) Nelson. She was the proud grandmother to Jaclene, David (Katelynn), Crystal (Lawrence), Angela (Derrick), Hallee, and the late Michael. Her legacy further extends to her cherished great-grandchildren, all of whom she adored. Diana was also a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews, who will fondly remember her generosity and warmth.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Betty Kutil, and her siblings, Barbara (the late Walter) Lesniak and Joseph (Carole) Kutil. Diana’s family finds solace in the thought that she is reunited with her loved ones who have gone before her.

In accordance with Diana's wishes, a private cremation was held at the Countryside Crematory.

Diana Lee Lokcinski will forever be remembered for her strength, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her family, friends, and community. Her presence in our lives was a true gift, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the joy of knowing her.
