Visitation for Desmond G. Dunne of Elgin, formerly of Chicago will be held Tuesday October 29, 2013 3:00 - 9:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Funeral Wednesday 11:00a.m. Interment Mt. Hope.

Desmond is the loving husband of the late Sarah for 60 years; dear father of Peter (the late Arlene), Virginia(George) Fischer, Bernadette(Jerry) Richards, Paul, Phillip(Tara), Madeleine(William) Green, and Patricia(Daniel) Smith; proud grandfather of Rachael, Wendy(Matt)Connely, Brian (Kate)Richards, Mairead, Brendan, Keeley, Tyler, and Fallon Dunne, and Sadie Smith; proud great grandfather of Mia, Jack, Tess, Sullivan, Brylee, and Kolton; dear brother of Brendan (Una), Tommy(Margie), Madeleine (John) Green, the late Pete, and Olive (Jimmy) O'Reilly; many loving nieces and nephews. Desmond was a champion ballroom dancer/instructor for many years.
