Dennis William Simon

Dennis William Simon, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 11th, 2026. Dennis was a beloved father, friend, and mentor whose life enriched those around him.

Born to the late William and Anna Simon, Dennis embraced a life full of love and passion. He leaves behind his son, Richard, who carries forward his father’s legacy of kindness and dedication.

Dennis was a long-time and respected employee of Combined Insurance, where he exemplified hard work and commitment. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dennis had a zest for life and a profound influence on the community through his involvement in the Boy Scouts of America, Troops 28 and 408. He took immense pride in mentoring scouts, igniting in them the same love for camping and the outdoors that he himself cherished.

Dennis also had a profound love for music, amassing a vast collection of vinyl records and CDs, bringing joy and melodies into the lives of those he touched.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during a visitation on Monday, June 15th, 2026, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 16th, 2026, at 10:30 AM at Countryside Funeral Homes & Crematory - Roselle, a chance for all who knew him to celebrate his remarkable life.
