Dennis Smith

Dennis Neil Smith, 83, born on July 6th, 1938, passed away at home in Bartlett, Illinois on Saturday, August 7th, on his 56th wedding anniversary to his loving wife, Judith E. Smith. Dennis is reunited again in heaven with his parents, Elizabeth and Neil Smith, his sister and brother-in-law Trudi and Bill Findlay, and his brother and sister-in-law Allan and Stacy Smith. Dennis leaves behind his wife Judy, his children Karen (Warren) with children Tyler and Justin, David (Elizabeth) with children Bryce, David and Tara, and Sandy (Steve) with children Colton and Kerrigan. Dennis adored his seven grandchildren and great grandchild Allan. He cherished his many nieces and nephews and their families all around the country: Billy, Kathi (David), Beth (Calvin), Diane (Eddie), Thomas, Elizabeth (Michael), Eric (Lisa) and Jason (Amy). Dennis worked at Motorola as a draftsman for 42 years where he met Judy, as well as many friends he still had up until his last day on earth. He is deeply loved and will be missed by all. Visitation Tuesday, August 10th, 3:00 pm until the time of service 7:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Cremation will be private at the Countryside Funeral Home.
