Dennis Sheahen, age 67, passed away on July 30, 2026, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Elgin, surrounded by family.
Born in Glenview, Illinois, Dennis was the son of Harold Sheahen and Meg Cuyjet. He is survived by his children, Ryan (Jacki) Sheahen and Laura (Matt) Kowalski; his treasured grandchildren, Owen, Jackson, and Sloane; his siblings, Ann (Dave) Hill and Michael Sheahen; and girlfriend Sandy Miscevich.
An unwavering Chicago sports enthusiast, Dennis loved attending Chicago Bears games with his son—faithfully cheering from the stands through every season, fair or foul, regardless of the weather.

A memorial service in Dennis’ name will be held on Friday, August 7 from 4-7 PM at Countryside funeral home in South Elgin.
