Dennis Ray Hadden

September 15, 1956 – October 21, 2025

Dennis R Hadden of Bartlett, IL passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones. Dennis was the beloved husband of Joann for 32 years and were together for 37; loving father of Jason, Danielle, Nicole (Rodrigo) Esparza and Tyler Hadden; dear son of the late Dan Hadden and Shirley Hadden (née Turnbull); grandfather to Madelyn, Malia and Baby Esparza due in April 2026; cherished brother of Sharon (Tom) Wilbeck, Holly (Ruben) Garcia and Tracey (Rick) McCormick; brother-in-law to many; dear uncle to many nieces and nephews, great uncle and cousin to many.

Before retiring, Dennis was a long-time independent contractor and employee (30+ years) of Walter E. Smithe Furniture, who served his customers as an in-home Service Technician/Upholsterer who did his job with perfection, dedication and integrity. Dennis enjoyed spending time with family and friends, being outdoors whether entertaining, doing yard work or just chilling in the pool. Dennis was also known for his love of Music, Movies, collecting memorabilia from the movie National Lampoon Christmas Vacation, Halmark Ornaments and various sport memorabilia. His laugh, kindness, humor and warmth will leave a lasting impression on all who knew him and will be dearly missed.
