Dennis Buritz

Dennis "Denny" C. Buritz, 68, of Bartlett; devoted husband of Jeannette, nee Piotter; cherished son of Rita J., nee Schmidt and the late Walter; dear brother of David (Suzanne) and brother in law of Donald (Audrey) Piotter; loving uncle of Shannon (Joe) and Colleen. He was a dog lover, while he missed his golden retriever his newest rescue dog, Cassie, (a tan lab / shepherd mix) always brightened his day. He enjoyed his work as a mechanic at Ford dealerships in Elgin, Carol Stream and Roselle. In his spare time he loved spending time up on Washington Island, hunting and fishing with family and friends. He and Jeannette also took countless cruises all over the world, truly living life by the advice he gave others, " Live life to the fullest while you are young and have your health." Visitation Thursday December 15th 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Funeral Friday 9:15 am to Resurrection Catholic Church. Mass 10:00 am. Interment All Saints. In lieu of flowers donations to The Parkinson's Association or the American Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
